True Or Not True??

I do received all kind of emails as the rest of you are. Mostly I deleted them but some I opened it. Last week I got an email from a person who I know. The subject was attracted to me so I opened it. The email was about Ex Australia Prime Minister John Howard's
talking his nation security and view on "Extremist Muslims live in Australia."

Before I blog it I did some research and found the following. I just wanted to say here that...in this world we do have Good Americans and bad Americans, good Christians and bad Christians, good monks and bad monks, good Shans and bad Shans and ....so does good Muslim and bad Muslim!! We can't say...... "The whole Apples basket is bad because of an Apple was rotten in the basket."

For Prime Minister Howard, yes he was a leader of Australia. He has the duty to protect his people. He is the head of the country, he has the right to taking care of the Australia's Business in good way. I think who lives in Australia should obey the Australia's Law. I do feel that his old statement is fair and clear.

In Thailand we must respect to the King. I live in Thailand so I do obey the Thai laws. There might be some who did not vote for Obama but we understand that he is our President so I do understand his time of Presidency in our great nation. Bottom line is you can't go your own way. You might not agree with his way of leading the country but for 4 year we must support him. After 4 years you are free to vote for who ever you want to.

This is what I see......"If you are a guest of some one house you must act like a good guest"!!(Should not be the one who even not flash the toilet bowl ")...If you are a daughter in law you act like a daughter in law" no problema!! got it???

View on "The apple basket!"!!! Yes...we do need to understand that because of one person or a small group of idiot or wrong behavior,
you can't judge on the whole basket is bad too!

I have seen some people from Muslim Countries in United States, honestly they are so thankful to be in America! Let me tell you..... if United States of America will open the door for Burmese people, there will be long line of Burmese people like Moses leading the Israeli to the promise land!!

We American might be not perfect but I am so grateful to be an American! I love you America!!

Lets be Fair and Respect!! OK....please enjoy the rest.........

Debunking email hoaxes and exposing Internet scams since 2003!

Summary:Email forward claims that former Australian Prime Minister John Howard told the media that immigrants should adapt to Australian culture, language and beliefs or leave the country. It also claims that Howard told Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law that they should get out of Australia (Full commentary below).

Status:Contains elements of truth, but is highly misleading and inaccurate.

Helen Said: The email I received was the same as following;

'Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.

''This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom."

''We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!

''Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

''We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.

''This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,

'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.

''If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.

'Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American and Canadian citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.'

Commentary:According to this email forward, former Australian Prime Minister John Howard informed Muslims living in Australia in no uncertain terms that they should leave the country if they wished to live under Islamic Sharia law. The message claims that the then Australian government was intent on targeting Muslim radicals "in a bid to head off potential terror attacks". The email also quotes a no-holds-barred diatribe about immigration supposedly delivered by John Howard. The message suggests that political leaders in Canada and the United States would do well to follow the lead of the Australian Prime Minister with regard to immigration policy. However, although the message does contain elements of truth, it is in fact highly misleading and inaccurate. At the outset, it should be noted that the message is now quite outdated. Versions of the email began circulating back in 2005. Since then, there has been a change of government in Australia. The Howard Government was resoundingly defeated in November 2007 and the current Australian Prime Minister is Labor's Kevin Rudd. However, the message contains no date and some non-Australian recipients may therefore wrongly assume that it refers to current events rather than events that occurred several years ago in a somewhat different political climate.

Update:February 2009Early in 2009

I began receiving versions of the above email that named Australia's current Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, as the person responsible for the supposed anti-Muslim stance. It seems that some rather unimaginative prankster has simply substituted "Rudd" for "Howard" in the text and replaced the photograph of John Howard with one of Kevin Rudd before sending on the message. The message is otherwise identical to the example included above. The "Rudd" version strays even further from the truth than the original. None of the comments or opinions included in the message have any connection whatsoever with Kevin Rudd or his Government.

What he saying is correct. People are the one applying to migrate Australia.

So need to adjust to cope with their life style. If people cannot do it, just go back to where people come from.

No complain about not having temple. Important is mind inside mind.

you know...a best weapon is allways mixing some truth and some lies....
people can swallow all the package ! even they doubt , easy to convince them that all is true!!
i think this is the most dangerous thing...people dont take time to check all the info (seee all the hoax you recieved by email , a lot of people forward it, they didnt check before sending it!!)
credulity...easy to manipulate them...

Agree, all should check before sending out. In this particular email which I did check, yes.... the fact is true but the people misleading to send it out even on the person who delivered the status. Was from Ex Prime Minister of Australia. Another fact is that it was a very old history too.
