FIrst Lady Fashion!

Note: This blog is only on fashion views! nothing more than that.

In this photo, I do not like her brown top! It is too busy for her and the wide and the length of sleeve is way too big. ( Please do not pay attention on the letters) She is very good looking with purple colour and knee length dress as she is tall. Honestly I do not like the belt because the belt looks so cheap on that expensive and beautiful dress. The belt also make her looks too busy!

I am a Jewellery Designer and got it from GIA. I also know a Little about of fashion. I am not Valentino, Dona Karen, Carolina Herrera or Vera wong.....ta..ta ta but as everyone, I do know who is good looking or well dress!

There is a way to design to make a beautiful ring or ear rings even with not so attractive gem stones or with semi precious stones, (Nowadays it is more easier as so many Jewellery design books are available and I have tons of those books. What you have to do is altar some to your likeness.) .... Say you have not so perfect Red Spinel but sentimentally bounded and would like to set it. Lets also say that the Red Spinel is even with a small chip around the corner. But if you design it with very attractive style and hide the chip under the hook, that ring can be a very very good looking one and can be sell easily.

See the following blog the comment on Michelle Obama's dress on last night. Co-accidentally I also had notice on her dress of last night and talking to myself that What kind of dress is it on such a special occasion? (Since everyone feel that her husband will be elected and she should be aware of it. Well sometime you can be killed by your advisers, ie., The McCain selection on VP?? for me is OK but for most of the majority said she is a thumb down). Normally Michelle Obama dresses well unless she wants to look like a person down to earth on last night! ...
Michelle is not good looking with pants because she has that huge behind. Her solder, waist line is not proportional with her bottom. Well..we all knows and have that let it down or let it go days!...
Overall, Michelle is very attracted woman with sophisticate type of dresses. I would say to her....Michelle enjoys your First Lady position and First Lady Wardrobe!
I don't care what you think about Jackie but her dresses and the way she dress, yes she is an American Beauty. She was a well dressed woman! I miss her style.

Honestly Regan is much more good looking than Nancy but Nancy has style. Actually very nice style, always.I do not like the look of both Michelle and Cindy in this photos. Cindy is not ugly but I do not like her hair style, most of the time is SUCK! How could be an late middle age woman wanted to let the hair down like teenager. (I do not know her Blondie Hair is real or not but way too blond to me.) Not match her at all. To be true, she dress up well and I like it.

Michelle Obama's Election Night Dress

posted by Rebecca Detken - Wed, Nov 5, 2008, 9:50 am PDT

Last night, Barack Obama made history when he was elected the 44th president of the United States! Obama was joined onstage in Chicago's Grant Park by his wife, Michelle, and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia, as he addressed an estimated crowd of 240,000 people.

President-elect Barack Obama and his family celebrate in Chicago's Grant Park. INFDaily.com
While Obama's eloquent victory speech moved me to tears, unfortunately so did Michelle's dress. Barack looked sharp as can be in a dark navy suit, which was custom made by Hart Schaffner Marx, but I just wasn't feeling Michelle's splotchy red and black Narciso Rodriguez frock.
It might seem a little shallow to be discussing fashion the day after such a big moment in America's history, but I'm not the only one buzzing about Mrs. Obama's election night attire. Yahoo! users are searching like crazy for info on her dress, while critics are weighing in on whether it was a hit or miss.

Like me, LA Times blogger Elizabeth Snead was not a fan of the frock, calling it "disastrous." Of course, not everyone agrees. BlackBookmag.com's Alisa Gould-Simon found the dress to be shocking, but notes that it was "unexpected, uncoventional, and right on trend." InStyle.com also applauded our First Lady-elect's bold decision to wear something modern instead of a classic Oscar de La Renta number like many of the First Ladies before her. "Michelle Obama made fashion history last night," writes InStyle's Katrina Szish. "America, get ready to see what a true modern style icon is all about."

I guess I have to give Michelle props for daring to be different!

New President!

We got a new President!

President Obama!

In news today, some American are calling our new president as the First Black President! My question is why the other half, white folks did not call him White President? In general truth he is half white and half black but why we call him the First Black President? Instead, Why can't we call him only President Obama? Fair ha? (OK, I know more or less the answer is, I am not stupid.) But in my deep thought I can't understand Why people did not count his other half white colour? Instead of him if his wife is President, I fully understand that She is the First Black US President Michelle Obama. In future do we need to call The First White Woman US President Hillary Clinton??? Wired world ha!! Lets all forget the colours and can't we just see we are American???

If some one said my son is Shan, only half is correct and if some one said he is Scottish, only half is correct also. Yes, if people call him just "American"..I am 100% agree that is correct. If you call me Shan American, it is correct too because I am fully Shan become fully American. But if I become American Presient and if you call me The first Yellow American,.....Honestly I will be very unhappy President!

I did not vote for him nor neither like McCain. I have no choice and I wish if there is one more choice. I am not alone folks, there are some who feel the same. But President Obama is our President and we will respect him and support him all the way to 4 years.

I sat and watched the election all morning then at noon, I watched a movie. The name of the movie is.............,"There Will Be Blood"..... A very good movie and love it! Learn that Trusting in God is not a joke. The movie point out that no one is perfect. I like this movie alot.

We said "In God We Trust"...Hope we really means it and trust God in every situation, in good time or bad time.

Once I read..."If you are not believer, leaving God alone is much much better than challenging God"!!!!

May God Bless and Guides our President Obama and The United States of America!

Web, good or bad?

Last night I was reading an article from Newsweek, issued by November the 3rd 2008. I want to blog some of my view along with it!

Death by Web Posts

South Koreans call it "cyberviolence " and they agree it needs to stop.
By B.J. LEE

Choi Jin Sil, Had a lot to live for. She was one of South Korea's hottest movie actresses, acclaimed as the "the people star", and the mother of two small children. Nevertheless, an ugly rumor about her appeared on line a few weeks ago in South Korean chat room. The unsubstantiated tale accused Choi of Being a ruthless loan shark and blamed her for the suicide of a popular but down- on- his -luck actor who had run up more than $2 million in debts before asphyxiating him self in his car. The rumor raced among hundreds of thousand of chat room users who added their own attacks on Choi's morals and character. Although the actress repeatedly denied everything, the torrent of hate was more than she could take. People close to her said she had suffered from depression ever since her 2004 divorce. "I am lonely and I am ostracized, " she wrote in her diary, "I cannot even breathe." One early October night she locked herself in a bathroom at her Seoul home and hanged herself in the shower.

My thinking is......People do reacted differently when they are facing difficulty time. I am not famous actress like Choi so I do not know exactly whats her inside feeling....but, I do have my way of dealing when I am not happy. I was thinking about her that Choi was more living with what other's thinking about her or pay more attention on her as "The people's star" instead of thinking about her 2 small children or her family or be herself. OK I might be very wrong here because I do not know her.

I do not care about what people think or talk about me behind or in front of me. They talk good about me, "Thank you" is my respond and "'Walk off " is my respond to thing that I do not like to see or hear. Mostly "truth will revile " is my way of living. I do care about more of my sleep well nights. OK that's does not mean I am a "Moron" or "selfish" woman......again I said, I know who I am and I sleep well.

On Choi's case, I do see unkind people instead of forgiving and let her life move on but unfortunately in our world, more selfish than thoughtful. I do see mean people, actually I am seeing time to time the most meanest people i.e... The Burmese Junta dealing with Nagis??? ..... I doubt it that Choi had real close friends or family around her? Why no one can't take her out of the country and spend the time a way from home and all these ugliness?? (Well, help can be worked only if she accept it). She is obviously did not ready for " Movie Star Life".

LEE continued write ..."Choi's suicide was scarcely an isolated incident. South Koreans , who claim to be the most wired people on earth , have a word for online attacks like those that led to her dead: it translates as "cyberviolaence."......

Almost every household in the country is equipped with broadband Internet service, and ideas and information flow freely in a flourishing on line culture. But the unrestrained ethos of the Internet creates a dangerous mix when combined with Koran's Traditional Confucian emphasis on "saving face."

As originally from Shan State, I do know how Asian way of thinking and living. I do know every culture has acceptable and non acceptable way of thinking by us. Oh yes, every one think their way is the best. This is human nature, right?
In Shan State, in my time I can count how many Shan girls married to white men (legally). Not more than 5 fingers! I remembered the day that I took my brand new husband and went to see my father. On the way, each village we passed by, they called my husband " A white dog." or "Ja Boo". But they did not know that I got a good white dog and nice one. So I smiled and slept well on that subject.

For another example: When people talking about their maid or maids, (we all do by the way)...But.... when the conversation goes so far like, "sneaking into the maid's room"..is so ugly for me and so unnecessary. For me is quite low to do so. Again, for others culture might be a normal thing to do or to say. Not for me!

Media world can be so ugly on Stars as they are more visible than us? Britney Spare, is another victim of like Choi's. They attacked on her character, on her behavior, on her married life, even on her immediate family...lists go on but I think she takes it well as she looks like "she doesn't care". she is living in her house, eating her food and earning her owns and on top of that, Media die down in certain period so what should she care? . In USA we called '"Short Flame News"...ie, may be like Monica Lewinsky's news ?? So....Ms. Spare shouldn't care. Tell me who is perfect in this world, you? I am not perfect but I think I am good.

Lee end his article like this............Across South Korea, people have been flooding into chat rooms to mourn Choi and discuss how to stop cyberviolence. May be they'll find that words have the power not only to harm but also to heal.

Yes, indeed words have power. When you spit it out with ugly words, you might get forgiving but not forgetting. In this case mourning is too late instead of forgiving.

According to Lee's article, The popular singer Yuni hanged her self last year amid viral accusations that she had gotten cosmetic surgery. Within days of Choi's death, a transsexual celebrity and and openly gay television actor hanged themselves after being bombarded with hate e-mail and Web posts.

Again...I am not Yuni so I do not know how she felt about cosmetic surgery. In this world there are so many cosmetic surgery which like a changing underwear too, often saw it. Not a big deal anymore. I have seen so many fake boobs even some are very proud of them and showing off them like a show case.

Bangkok does have good cosmetic surgeries. I saw women and men came all over around neighbouring because of good prize tags. Lots of Thai girls are more into nose and boob jobs. Nowadays you can see Thai girls with high noses. I do have flat Chinese nose but love to have it and it match my face so well.

Lets reserve our tongues and Web for the good time people!

GALA

I went to a gala, fund raising for the AIDS Children at the Four Season Hotel. My Thai Princess Son, Nat asked me to join and I went with some friends. They invited world famous Chefs, actually 14 of them from around the world. They presented different dishes from different Chefs....of course lots of expensive wine and Champagne.

There were some auctions and lots of generous people were willing to bit on it. Was a nice outing for me. I think our tables is the most fun people. I did have fun too!

A visit to the doctor

This morning, I went to see the doctor to check my immune level. Still 170 which is pretty good. My new liver's function is actually way way better than my old liver's function. Well.... my old liver was carrying a big tumor so understandable.

Doctor said I might need to inject my immune around Jan the 5th! Looking forward to it? Noop........ because as this is going to be the first time injection, I am a big concern. I told Robins that he has to come with me and hold my arm or my bottom!! I asked so many questions to my doctor and according to him, it will be pain. The injection can be either on my arms or my bottom. I was thinking if on my arms, I might can't play tennis and if on my bottom, I might can't sit! Deep thought ha?

Remember I did mention one of in my blogs that last July in UF Hospital, I got the newest infusion which is no need premed. It was real good, no premed and shorter time also. Today my Thai doctor gave me a good news saying... Thai Health Ministry is looking into for that newest infusion. I bet Hong Kong and Singapore have it already.

Tomorrow, I am going to somewhere east of Bangkok to see Robins is giving seminar to the Thai Shrimp Farmers. One more China trip is waiting for him in December. I think this is a WAS (World Agricultural Society) meeting. Well someone in my family need to work. I am thankful that Robins is happy what he is doing. No complain!
